Fifty years ago, and just a few short years after Hemmingway wrote The Old Man and the Sea, Vero Marine Center started "Serving Boaters on the Waterfront" when Bob Chesborough opened the business. Family owned and operated since its' beginning, and still at the same location, Bruce and Jackie MacIntyre acquired Vero Marine Center in 1974 and have been providing exceptional service to the boating community while actively involved in assuring that families, friends, and potential boat owners enjoy the unspoiled magic of the area. Brian Cunningham, General Manager and their son Boo MacIntyre, Service Manager run the day-to-day operations of "The Busy Marina."
It was an honor in itself that Vero Marine Center was selected as one of the first boat dealers in the nation to participate in the National Marine Manufacturers Association's (NMMA) Pilot Program for Certification of Boat Dealers. But after months of work, the "icing on the cake" was announced September 27th, 2005; Vero Marine Center was certified on the first inspection, becoming one of the nations first dealerships that met all of the requirements. In fact, Vero Marine Center was named number one in the nation for employee satisfaction, which is one of the criteria for certification.
The MacIntyre family and the entire Vero Marine Center team thank you for the support you have shown during 50 fabulous years and we invite you to navigate our website that tells who we are, what we have to offer, how we deliver, and the relationships we have nurtured in the boating world and local communities through the years. Our valued Partners are an integral part of your boating experience and we sincerely thank them for the quality products and services they provide and for paricipating in telling "Our Story."
